How is confidentiality guaranteed?
We sign an NDA before receiving any documentation. All information is handled in strict confidence, and we never contact the business owner directly without your express authorisation.
Is there compensation for referring an opportunity?
Yes. Blue Mountain remunerates professionals who introduce opportunities that culminate in an acquisition. Terms are agreed individually and in confidence before any process begins.
What happens if the deal does not close?
There is no cost to you or your client. We only charge — and pay — on success. The time we invest in assessment is on us.
Will my client know I introduced the opportunity?
Only if you decide so. We can operate in a way that your client knows you facilitated the introduction, or with complete discretion. You choose the level of visibility.
What information do you need for an initial assessment?
A general description of the company, sector, approximate revenue and EBITDA, reason for the transaction, and estimated timeline. With that we can provide an initial response within 48 hours.
How does Blue Mountain differ from a private equity fund?
We operate exclusively with proprietary family capital. We have no external investors, outside investment committees, or exit timelines. This allows us to make decisions with speed and a genuinely long-term perspective.
Can I introduce opportunities outside Spain?
Our focus is Spain. We do, however, selectively assess opportunities in Portugal and Latin America when they have an operational link to the Spanish market.
How do you protect my relationship with my client?
We understand that you are the trusted advisor. We never attempt to disintermediate the relationship. You participate in the process to whatever degree you choose, and your role is protected contractually.
